I am connected to the internet by means of pppoe.(vxdl) and my operating system is Debian-Lenny (http://paste.debian.net/56532/). I am getting this particular issue whenever booting my computer. Used to do a "pppoeconf" after that obtained a connectable pppo however, each moment I boot the computer same status proceeds. I do not have a clue how to prevent this.

This is file that is related to your dsl provider and that resides in this linux OS. The reason you are getting the error on every restart is because there is something wrong with your DSL connection or the IP configuration of your computer.

  1. Try to disable all the networking configurations on your computer and see if you still get the same error.
  2. Locate the file on your computer. Go to that location and delete the file.
  3. Restart your computer and it will create a new copy of the same file with a new data in it.
  4. This will automatically restore the file to its original state.
  5. If you still can’t figure out the problem , run the updates for the debian OS.
