The following methods are helpful to fix the 80070422 error.

Method 1

a. Connect to the Internet
b. Open Control Panel.
c. Go to Network and Sharing Center.
d. Right-click on your Network.
e. Open Properties.
f. Uncheck the TCP/ IPv6 version.
g. Click on Ok.
h. Restart your device.
i. Try to update.

Method 2
