I cannot sign in to Xbox Live. I am getting an 80048821 error code. I have an active membership, and the password is also correct as I verified it using the Microsoft site. Restarting did not help. How to fix the problem.

I can understand that you know why the 80048821 error occurs. So, I will tell you a few more methods to solve the error.

Method 1

a. Go to xbox.com.
b. Click on the sign-in icon on top.
c. If you can sign-in here, try to sign in to your console.

Method 2

a. Go to Settings -> System Settings.
b. Open Storage/ Memory.
c. Select any storage device.
d. Press Y on your controller.
e. Click on Clear System Cache.
f. Click Yes.
g. Restart the console.
h. Try to sign-in.

Method 3

a. Go to Settings -> System Settings.
b. Open Storage.
c. Select the primary storage.
d. Click on System Items.
e. Select Marketplace System Data.
f. Click on Delete.
g. Restart your console.
