I have a Canon printer connected to my Windows PC. I am getting a 5012 error code in the Printer, and I cannot print anything. I will be highly obliged if anyone can help me to fix the error.

Please Help Me To Fix The 5012 Error Code In The Canon Printer

The 5012 error code in the printer occurs mainly due to some problem with the ink cartridge. If you are aware of replacing the cartridge, follow the suggested methods; otherwise, go to a repair shop.

Method 1

Check whether there are any papers jammed in your printer device that is not allowing you to print.

Method 2

a. Power off your printer.
b. Take out the power cord and other cables.
c. Take out the ink cartridge.
d. Check if there is any paper stuck on the tip of the ink cartridge.
e. Take the paper out, and place the ink cartridge back to place properly.
f. Reconnect the cables, and try to print.

Method 3

a. Power off the printer.
b. Take out the power cord and other cables.
c. Take a look at the printing cartridge.
d. If the cartridge is not seated properly, you will get the error.
e. Reseat the cartridge.
f. Connect the cables.
g. Turn on your printer, and try to print.
