hi, if i'm not mistaken, you're using Mac OS. anyways, photos deleted in Mac OS will not automatically deleted. it will land to your trash bin. if it's not displayed in your desktop, just go to finder, find the search box located at the upper right corner and type trash. if you already saw the files, just drag and drop them on your ipod. goodluck! 🙂

Hi Chet,

Well, there is a way for you to reinstall or recover those photos from iPhoto library but please make sure that you have a previous backup of your files before it got deleted.

What is good about iPhoto feature is that it allows you to recover a selected iPhoto library. This feature usually resolves some issues related to reading the iPhoto library structure.

Simply follow these steps on how you can rebuild or recover those photos.

Close any program on your Mac including iPhoto.
Hold down the Option key and the Command button on the keyboard then open the iPhoto.
Keep holding down the keys until a prompt appears that ask you to rebuild the iPhoto library. Select the options that you want on the rebuild dialog box, then click REBUILD. It will take a few minutes to complete the process and you are done.

Please note that any recovered photos may not be on the original album but you can find it on a new album under RECOVERED PHOTOS in the source list.

I hope this is a big help.
Good luck!
