PDF Creator Printer Properties: Can’t “Run as User”

Asked By 30 points N/A Posted on -

I have used a neat and free piece of software named PDF Creator. However, it has some errors correctly printing under some terms.

The easy way to solve this is to open Printers, then left click on PDF Creator, then pick "Printer properties", click "Ports", then "Configure Ports", and tick "Run as user".

In Windows XP, this has been fixed. But when I have used Windows 7 Operating System I got the following error:

"An error occurred during port configuration. Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000001)."

How can I solve this? Need a solution.

PDF Creator Printer Properties: Can’t “Run as User”

You can do few things to solve this problem.

  1. First save the file created from PDF to a location in your computer.
  2. Once saved, open it with Adobe Reader.
  3. After opening, go to file menu and click print. Select the print properties that you want and click print.

Or you can try the following steps too.

  1. From the Start menu, go to control panel of your computer.
  2. Go to Administrative tools. In it select the services.
  3. You will see different services. Click the printer spooler services from the options. Select the type automatic from startup.
  4. This is automatically initiating the printer after every start of the computer.

You can also try changing the USB connection port of the printer to some other in your computer if you have more than 2.
