Hi, today when I started my computer and after working for like 2 hours, my PC suddenly began to make some beeping noises. I restarted it, but it’s still making that noise. Is it because the PC is failing? How to fix this?

Desktop PCs have a speaker inside the case. It beeps whenever PC is powered on as a part of the Power-On Self-Test (POST). If your PC is working normally though it’s beeping, because it’s alarming you about that CPU is running too hot. It will be better to fix it immediately. Firstly, enter the BIOS and note the CPU temperature.

If it’s over 60 degrees Celsius, it means it is getting too hot. Make sure that the CPU is not overclocked. Check that the computer case is well ventilated and all fans are doing proper functioning. Clean the motherboard if some dirt is present on it. Following the above steps will do the job.
