I have HP laptop, a few days ago I noticed that systems clock is reset. I reset it, then again it’s self-resetting. What should I do now?

Wrong date and time can cause some software issues like broken software license and confused browser cookies. But this is a fixable issue. The motherboard’s CMOS battery, which powers the onboard Real-Time Clock (RTC), is either too low or dead and needed to be replaced. Almost all motherboards of any brand using ‘CR2032’ 3V button cell battery. I will advise you to keep some of these batteries in access with you so that whenever this problem occurs, you can fix it by just changing that battery.
