I uninstalled OpenOffice after receiving some issues. But after reinstalling, there is no icon to start the program. Not even on the Start menu. I tried downloading it from both Apache and OpenOffice websites but both did not work. I’ve been installing fro few times already but no luck! Help please.

You might want to try checking if it is installed using Control panel. Start —> Control Panel —-> Add or remove Programs. If it is there, you may go to the file location or the folder where the software is saved (usually in local disk or C), then from there look for the shortcut and just copy it in your desktop or wherever you want to put it (you may also look for the executable file itself and just create a shortcut).
