I was installing a game. When I run it I got stuck on this error. What is HGWC?

Is this file downloadable online?

How do I know if it is the right file?

Game problems, Installation error: HGWC File is changed

 

Hi,

Are you playing Crossfire? HGWC is an update to a patch and this error occurs when there is something blocking it such as Firewall or antivirus or blocking the access to the files that HGWC needs to run. To resolve your issue, try any of the solutions below:

– Turn off your antivirus and try to install the game again.

– Search for CSHELL.DLL and then add it to C:WindowsSystem32 folder.

– Try downloading the game from a different server.
