I am unaccustomed the mac atmosphere and are tasked with programming some knowledge exchange between a vision camera and a mac laptop. The camera encompasses an intrinsic OPC knowledge server, that i used to be hoping to use to broadcast a worth scan from a barcode over to the mac laptop, the mac laptop would then play a documented iTunes song from this barcode price. will anyone have any suggestions on the most effective thanks to implement this task?
Is OPC possible on Mac?
An OPC server is no different than any other server you can use.
Your Mac PC will be the client and will send requests to the server and you will find some software applications for communication with the vision camera.
If you don't have the drivers then you should use I/O kit framework offered by Apple  and interface with iTunes using Applescript.
You may need to learn some programming languages to use them when dealing with iTunes.
