The norstar phone system was introduced in 1988 and had many fascinating features for that time such as LCD display, colour coded keys, speaker phone etc. They have converted to Business Communication Manager with two systems. BCM50 is for smaller companies with 3 to 30 extensions. The BCM450 has 300 extensions for larger companies. This system is sold under the name of Avaya now. For people who want to shift from digital system to VOIP format, BCM is the product provided by Avaya. BCM has all the features that Norstar had with the VOIP format.
