I am using iMessage when sending messages to my friends. It was working great until I noticed that all the old messages are deleted automatically without giving me any alerts or notifications. I checked for few times but the messages are already deleted. Is there a way that I can restore those messages? Help please.
Check your iMessage messenger, your messenger might be corrupted or there are something bugs on the system or error during the installation. Try to re-install the software or have a new copy of the application. If after all this things you’ve done and the error still exists possible problem comes from your computer. Sometimes automatic deletions are executed by a Virus so you may try to scan your computer from virus infection and free your system from virus infection. After cleaning your computer from virus infection, un-install your previous copy of iMessage then reinstall the new installation file you have.

I had the same problem and was really annoyed by it.
By accident I managed to retrieve them by sending a photo (or at least the conversations with my girlfriend)
Maybe it works for you too by doing this:
Go to your photoalbum and send a photo as a message. Then send it to one of the persons that you lost the messages from.
Go to imessage and look in the overview. If it works as with me you'll see a second chathistory with all the old messages.
