Nokia 5130 xpressmusic device software update failed

I try to update my Nokia 5130 xpress music using Nokia software update but at end of installation give this message that device software update failed i don't know why because before i also update two or tree one month ago with the version 07.95 i used Nokia software update but i don't face such problem.

When i press the power button a blank page come and this message appear (test mode) then i take out the battery form phone and then i put the battery on the phone and phone is turn on help me sir.

Nokia 5130 xpressmusic device software update failed

Hello,

Below are the steps on how to solve your problem:

1. Remove memory card.

2. Restore default settings.(I recommend to do it by pressing "*#7780#". If asked for security code, enter it.)

3. Uninstall Pc suite and restart pc.

4. Uninstall Nokia software update and Nokia connectivity cable driver and then restart PC.

5. Install Nokia software update.

6. Restart PC.

7. Connect to PC using your data cable.

8. Select default mode or PC Suite mode.

9. Wait for PC to finish Automatic Installing of new hardware.

10. Connect the charger even if the phone is fully charged.

11. Disable any screen saver in your PC.

12. Start the Update and follow the instructions.

Whatever happens do not interrupt any activity of the update.

Nokia 5130 xpressmusic device software update failed

You must be aware while updating your phone's software. If there is any kind of interruption during the updating process, You might have to lose your mobile for lifetime. So be very careful about this.

The others things you should look upon:

1. Make sure Your phone is ON during the updating process.

2. Make sure continuous power supply both to your Computer & Mobile.

3. Always use the original Nokia Data Cable.

4. Download & Use the latest version of Nokia PC Suite and Nokia software update.

5. Download these software from original & official Nokia website.

6. Through this process You can update your Nokia Phone.
