Hi,

Hi Branndy,

You want to view your ISO files in your iMac and these are not open because it has two main reasons first if your ISO files has been corrupted or second is your file viewer has been damaged so kindly check these two reasons and correct if it has any issue step wise. Hopefully this instruction will help you.

Thanks

If you have an ISO file on your mac and you want to open it and see its contents, you won’t be able to open it by simply double-clicking on the file. An ISO file is an image of an actual CD or DVD disc. It is the digital format of a real disc and it is intended for burning on a blank CD-R or DVD-R.

After burning, you can then access its contents on the disc you burned. Another way of accessing its contents is to mount it on a virtual drive. For Mac users, download DAEMON Tools for Mac 7. It supports OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan, 10.12 Sierra, 10.13 High Sierra, and 10.14 Mojave.

Once installed, it will automatically create a virtual drive where you can mount disc images like ISO (.iso), MDX (.mdx), CDI (.cdi), IMG (.img), DMG (.dmg), and more. You can also open the ISO file using WinZip. Download the latest WinZip for Mac. This should fix the problem.
