With the Google Chromebox aiming to establish its niche in mobile computing that enables users a different sense of portable functionality, will it be able to capture a significant portion of the market or is it aiming to create an entirely different market segment?

A New Approach to Portable Computing with Google Chromebox

 

Google’s Chrome Box is designed for small business such as retail sectors. It is cloud-based desktop device from Google that aimed to help small businesses that has no benefits of a true IT. Or let us say there are delays in the implementation of long-term projects. In this way the Chrome Box has made a difference. Studies show that almost all small businesses suffer from loss of data in times of disaster. A small percentage from this sector uses the internet to send their data in a remote location. But in Chromebox data is stored remotely in a Google servers thus the risk losing data is low. Even in the event when a Chromebox is damaged or lost, data can still be recovered through a simple sign-in to the same account using different device.
