I want to use a Macro Recorder that will save the keystrokes and allow me to assign them with a hotkey.

The problem is I don't have such a program, and I was wondering if you guys can help me to obtain a Macro Recorder for Visual Basic because I haven't found one online.

Thank you for all your help.

You can use the macro reader by creating macro in Word 2007, as it will record the visuals you want to save and rehearse later on. You have to use keyboard while navigating or selecting text as macro cannot record mouse movements.

Click Developer tab on Ribbon > Record Macro in the Code group. The record macro dialog box will appear, type macro name and any details in the description box

To make macro accessible from keyboard, click keyboard and the dialog box appears to make your macro accessible through keyboard. You have to enter any key that you want to choose. Select the storing option (default) as Normal.dotm to make macro always available and Press Assign and then Close.

Now, Click OK in the record macro dialog box to start recording.

Do the task you need to record on Word document, and press Stop when you are done.

Use the shortcut key assigned to macro to test if it works.
