Need Help With Error 421 In GameGuard

My friends and I were talking about B1F of the Tower of the Dead, the dungeon we entered last night in Cabal Online limited for two hours only which we managed to complete in just a few minutes. Right after I finished playing and closing the game, my computer suddenly turned off even if I haven’t shut it down yet.

I didn’t bother turning it on again because I need to sleep already. Today, when I got home from school, I tried playing again but I receive GameGuard error code “421”. Need assistance.

Need Help With Error 421 In GameGuard

Cabal Online is protected with GameGuard to avoid cheating from players. Now, if you receive error “421”, the error is directly from GameGuard. This means there is a problem with GameGuard itself and since it launches with the game, Cabal Online will not start without GameGuard. This error prevents GameGuard from launching so just delete the GameGuard folder.

Click CHECK FILES in Cabal Online game launcher
Click CHECK FILES in Cabal Online game launcher

If you play Cabal Online, open Windows Explorer then navigate to “C:\Program Files (x86)\CABAL Online (NA – Global)”. Here, look for the “GameGuard” folder and delete it. After this, start Cabal Online then click “CHECK FILES” to let the game launcher check for missing files. When it detects and verifies that GameGuard is missing, it will download GameGuard again from its server.

This should fix the problem with GameGuard error “421”. Another way is to copy the GameGuard folder from another user who has a working installation of the game “Cabal Online”.
