Need help for magix movie edit giving problem.

Hello guys I am new at movie edit. I jsut start using magix movie edit softwar. When I try to open AVI movie into timeline it shows you cannot open HD into timeline from your Computer. Please help me and do not ask me any question.

Hello,

 

It is possible that you installed the older version, or maybe it was damaged?  As I found on the internet, this version can handle all formats of HD video:  https://magix-movie-edit-pro.en.softonic.com/?.

 

This is the Pro version, so you'll have no problems opening HD videos.  This software can handle most known video and audio files, you can use various tools to edit your video the way you want it.  I hope I helped you.  Regards.

Need help for magix movie edit giving problem.

Hello

Avi is a format that can contain any audio and video codecs. It is possible that Magix Movie editor is not able to read a particular codec in the avi file. The best solution would be to convert your video using video converting software. Two good freeware options are anyvideo converter and freemake.

Both these programs are capable of opening and converting 99% of video files. They do not overwrite your current video so you can experiment with which formats will best suit your needs.

Here is how to convert a video using Freemake.

Select the "video" button.

Select the format you want to convert too by selecting one of the buttons on the bottom.

Select the convert button

The size and the length of the video will determine the amount of time the video will take to convert.

That is all that is required.

Try using AVImedic here. This will repair any corrupt AVI files.
