Hi,

The problem you are having is not a big deal but first check these things to solve your problem. Maybe you don't have any driver issue. Check first these things step by step then we will go to the driver if the problem doesn't resolve.

Check your speakers are they powered and the volume is up on the speaker. If it's okay then check the speaker out connector. If it is attached just right click on the speakers at the bottom of your right hand and check out the volume is not set on mute. If these things are ok now lets go to the driver section.

Click on start and go to control panel. When the control panel opens click on system and security. Click on the system and then device manager. It will open a window in which you have to find sound, video and game controller. Check the sound card if it's listed there. If it's not listed or showing the yellow sign on it just double click on it and go to the installation.

When installing the driver does it by CD which came with the sound card or through internet. It will search the best one for you. If the driver is installed just update the driver. It will also fix the problem. Here is the URL to fix your problem automatically.

Speaker driver is used to make connection with windows and other softwares to play sound smoothly. It is given in the motherboard disc which is given when you buy a pc. The best speaker driver is Realtek High Definition Audio Driver. You can download it from this site:

http://www.realtek.com

It is free and good.

If you could listen sound smoothly before but not now, then it might be a hardware problem, not driver problem. In that case, you can use external sound box. This might have happened because drivers cause problems sometimes.
