Nasne is a media hub, video recorder and media storage device. This device has  500 GB hard disk. Nasne can connect to a home network and  user can watch and record TV shows through applications like “vaio TV with Nasne”. User can also use Nasne from a Play station, Sony Tablets, Vita And Sony smart phones through WiFi or LAN.

 Nasne can stream live and record video on more than one device simultaneously. It can also function as media storage device for data such as movies, photos and music and any DLNA compatible device can access these contents at home network.

Black Nasne device measures 189 mm in length, 43 mm in width, and 136 mm in height. Its weight is 460 g. It will be available in Japan on July 19 for 211$. So you just have to wait to see this gadget in action.

Nasne is a standalone home network hub developed by Sony that supports Sony PlayStation Vita and Sony PlayStation 3. It is equipped with 500 GB internal hard drive and a digital terrestrial and satellite broadcasting tuner. You can watch and record digital terrestrial and satellite television when you connect it to your home network with the help of a program called “torne”, a dedicated application for Sony PlayStation 3.

It also allows you access to previously recorded content from PlayStation Vita, Sony tablets, and Sony Xperia devices. Sony nasne is also capable of streaming live or recorded television simultaneously into two supported Sony devices. Aside from recording and streaming television, it can also be used to store photos, music, and movies with the 500 GB built-in hard drive.

It is also possible to increase the storage by adding an external hard drive. To use nasne on Sony PlayStation 3, you need to install torne 4.0. This application ships with the Sony nasne device and is a dedicated application for the Sony PlayStation 3. Sony nasne was released on July 19, 2012.
