My system restore does not work when the computer restarts

Hey everyone,

It won't let me use it even though it is still making restore points.

If I try to restore it it goes through all of the usual things, reboots and then tells me it could not restore and nothing has changed on my computer.

System restore is not disabled.

Can anyone help?

If there are any issues or if the System Restore is not behaving as expected, I suggest you to run it in Safe Mode. To make the Mode Safe, you need to reboot your PC and do F8 before the appearance of the logo of Windows. The other way to do this would be to type msconfig in the Search under Start and enable Safely boot from the Boot tab.Next, in the search space, type System on the highlighted restore option. If it runs in this mode, then one of your corrupted files or an antivirus program might be the culprit. On finding the issue, you can modify the antivirus settings accordingly. If this is not the case, then switch off the system restore and start your computer again. This action erases your previous restore points of the system.
