When I try to install Camtasia 8 in my computer I ended up with an error message. I tried several times but I am getting this fatal error again and again. This error message interrupted my installation and it failed. What is this fatal error means? How to fix this error? Please help me with some solutions. Thanks.

The installation file for Camtasia Studio 8 may be damaged or corrupt. You can try finding it on another source and then download and install it again. If you are also trying to install Camtasia Version 8, ensure that you have deleted Version 7 first before performing a clean install. Go to Techsmith official page and download Camtasia 8 from there. If you can’t install Camtasia Studio 8, check that your computer meets the requirements. Camtasia Studio 8 supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x. This version is quite old and may not work very well on newer operating systems.
Additionally, this version is available only in 32-bit. Some 32-bit applications run fine on 64-bit operating systems but this one may not work very well on 64-bit platforms. One user who bought it on Amazon encounters frequent crashing and hanging when installed on 64-bit Windows 8.1. So, you probably need to check your operating system before installing this program.
