Hi, I was trying to install Microsoft Office 2010 on my computer, but this error window appear on the screen. Can anyone help me, please? Thank you.

Hello Rosiago,

What you are doing is probably trying to upgrade the Microsoft Office application using a version that is not compatible or does not support the older version of that application. You will therefore need to do the following in order to fix the issue:

  • Access the control panel and check the version of Microsoft Office application that you have on your computer. The one you trying to upgrade to right now is Microsoft Office Professional, and therefore it will require that the version you have on your computer is an older version of Microsoft Professional.
  • Once you establish the version of the application, go ahead and get a version that is compatible with it and use it for the upgrade.
