Mozy application gives “Error MozyHome has not yet successfully backed up”

I read about this application and found it very useful as it is better to backup all that I have and if accidently deleted, I can get it back again. I signed up MozyHome account, and installed it on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. As I started backing up it suddenly gave error.

“Error

MozyHome has not yet successfully backed up”

Anyone knows that what this error is about and after a little time this message popped up so did I succeed in backing up my data or is it something else.

Hi,

Some times once the file is deleted,some files are not deleted. So again install it .then some files are already there and you install some new files. So the installer was unable to  fetch the files from the correct one. So there is a temporary error occurred in the file execution. So need not to worry about this error.

Mozy application gives “Error MozyHome has not yet successfully backed up”

So what you need to do is uninstall Mozy from control panel, then reboot your computer and reinstall the latest version of mozy. This was probably an issue with the older version of the clients, download the newer version from here and your error should be fixed. Also update the client to fix any other issue that might trend to arise.
