Hi,

I have a Samsung Sync Master 957 MB CRT monitor. I am using it more than 5 years. Now I am facing some problem with it. When I first start the monitor it works perfectly, but after a few minutes it goes blurred and I am unable to see anything clearly.

I have to turn it off then it’s ok but after some time this problem occurs again.

What do I have to do?

Hi,

As you've mentioned in your question, I think your monitor have some heat issue. It is an old model and you are using it more than five years, from that I can say it is the rest time for that old guy. If you persist to use it then you have the option. The first one is to cool of your monitor, for this you can use your table fan.

As your CRT monitor, every cathode ray tube have faced some problems after a long term use like it generates heat greatly, become unstable etc. For your second choice you can give your monitor to a servicing center to repair it.

It will be as good as new after the repair. It will not cost much. I'm expecting that there are no parts damage and it will take only servicing charge. If the problem continues, you can buy a new LCD.
