Hello,

I have a great problem with my mobile. I use Nokia C-07 and I bought it 6 months ago. Now the problem is one week ago, it started to get restarted and 2-3 days ago it doesn’t start at all. I have tried many times by removing battery, giving full charge etc. But got no result. What could be the problem and what is the solution?

Hi,

I think you have got bad luck about your mobile set. As far as I know few years ago when Nokia released C-07, it got a great market. Then in one of its bundle all the phones had few problems. The problem is when you browse your phone some data is saved in EEPROM and it deletes automatically. But in Nokia C07 it can’t delete the data normally and when the EEPROM is full the problem starts. It restarts again and again and after someday, it can’t start at all.

To solve this problem you can give you phone to the Nokia service center and they will change the EEPROM. But look, since they are defected sets  the EEPROM will get full again. Then you have to change it again. The best solution will be to consider it as your bad luck and change this mobile set before you spend too much money on it.

Might be your phone internal hardware got faulty, you have to contact in NOKIA service center asap. It is hardware issue hence cannot be solved with other alternate as software up gradation etc..

The Nokia C7 is a 3G Smartphone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. It was unveiled on September 2010 and released on October 2010 measuring 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 millimeters and weighing 130 grams. This is a discontinued phone. It uses mini-SIM card and has AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 360 x 640 pixels screen resolution.

Nokia C7

It supports multi-touch protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on Symbian^3 upgradable to Nokia Belle OS powered by 680 MHz ARM 11 processor and Broadcom BCM2727 GPU. It supports microSD expandable up to 32 GB. It runs on 256 MB RAM with 1 GB ROM and 8 GB internal storage. The primary camera supports 8 megapixels with dual LED flash and fixed focus featuring geo-tagging and face detection.

It supports 720p video recording at 25 fps and 720p at 30 fps via SW update. It has a secondary VGA camera. It has 3.5-millimeter jack featuring Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support, GPS with A-GPS support and Ovi Maps 3.0, NFC via software update, stereo FM radio with RDS support and FM transmitter, and microUSB 2.0 with USB Host support.

It has built-in compass, proximity, and accelerometer sensors. The pre-installed web browser supports WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML with Adobe Flash Lite support. Java is supported via MIDP 2.1. It runs on removable BL-5K Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery with standby time up to 552 hours on 2G and 648 hours on 3G. Talk time is up to 9 hours 30 minutes on 2G and 5 hours on 3G.

It is available in mahogany brown, charcoal black, and frosty metal colors. I have a Samsung Champ phone and from time to time it restarts by itself. I don’t know maybe an internal error triggers it but nothing serious happens. There was a time when it restarted every five or ten seconds and that’s not normal.

What I did, I turn it off and remove the battery for several minutes. Then after that I reinstalled the battery and turn it on and it went back to normal. Sometimes you just have to drain the charge that goes into the phone’s circuitry. Try this and see. If it doesn’t work, try a hard reset. To do this, on your Nokia C7, make sure it is on.

Then press and hold Volume Down + camera button + Home key + Power button until you see the Nokia logo. Now, enter your lock code (default is 12345 if you didn’t change it). After this, your phone may reset or restart. If this doesn’t work, head down to Hard Reset Nokia C7 for other methods.
