Microsoft Visual Studio – ENU has stopped working

Hello experts,

I opened Microsoft Visual Studio and before I start to work this error appeared and closed the program. Now the program won’t start at all and this error is present every time. I don’t know how to solve this and does anyone have any solution for this ? What is causing this ?

Microsoft Visual Studio – ENU has stopped working

As what was reported by the support of Microsoft Visual Studio 2013, it turns out that the cause of the problem was a common issue with the graphics accelerator. This issue can be encountered when installing Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 or when the user is using the Designer mode using Windows 8.1.

Some users already tried uninstalling Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and then installing it back but this method doesn’t seem to work. Most of the errors displayed by Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 are related to Intel graphics drivers. One of the workaround you can try is, if you need to be in Designer mode, you can enable the designer by deactivating the Optimus setting found in the BIOS.

Another method is to install the trial version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 with the fix. It can be downloaded from Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 with Fix.
