Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error in Finger Verification

Asked By 20 points N/A Posted on -

I am using Visual Basic 6 with the free Finger print verification SDK. I have already installed Digital Persona Fingerprint Recognition system (U and U 4000B Reader) and created default database.

The verification and enrollment was done successfully and closed the project. When I open the project the error below occurred. Please give me a solution to solve this problem.

Here's the error message:

Runtime Error!

Program:…int_ verification _SDKFFVSDKbinwin32_x86Nffvserver.exe

Abnormal program termination

Here's the screenshot of the message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error in Finger Verification

Hi Kathy, your problem here is with the C++ program, it has an error with the registry entries and the configuration.

This is what you need to do to solve this error;

Go to Start > Run

Type 'Msconfig.exe' in the box and click ok.

On General tab click Selective startup

On Startup tab click to clear all check boxes except for 'Mo search'

Click Ok and click Yes when prompted to restart your pc.

If the problem is not solved by these steps, you will need to delete Mosdmn.exe, and Mosearch.exe. This will disable support for faster searching and the runtime error wont be seen again.

I hope this solves your problem.
