Microsoft metro name removal ?

Why Microsoft wants to remove the name metro from its new releases. They are saying it as windows 8. The technology what they used is Metro and they want to change it to windows 8?

Microsoft metro name removal ?

Hi,

 

Before the name change, Microsoft has been receiving a lot of criticisms from analysts and through articles about the name “Metro” for its user interface. Meanwhile, Microsoft defends that “Metro” is a mere code and is not intended to be a term for consumers to use. recently, Microsoft have renamed the UI as “Modern.”

Microsoft metro name removal ?

Dear,

Windows 8 has two operating environments but the new Metro environment with its new Metro-style apps and experiences. Microsoft said Metro is the codename for their design language. The word Metro was picked because the name was modern and clean.
