Microsoft fix error during the installation of the program

Hi there,

I have this error when I want to install a Microsoft Fix It on my PC. The installer is downloaded from a trusted source and is compatible with my Windows 7 (x86). I don’t know why is not working so does an expert have some free time to help me please ?

Microsoft fix error during the installation of the program

To make sure you are using the legit copy of the Microsoft Fix It program, download Microsoft Fix It. Once downloaded, navigate to the download folder then double-click the Microsoft Fix It application to launch it. Follow the instructions until it is finished. In case you received an error after running the program, it is probably a problem regarding permissions.

Try starting the program as administrator. Right-click “MicrosoftFixit-portable.exe” then point to “Run as” and then select Administrator. After this the program should work successfully. Also, before opening the program, make sure you are using an administrator account. The program will not run on limited accounts because it requires administrative privileges to complete the processes.

You probably get that error because the installer or the executable is somewhat damaged maybe because of an incomplete download. I don’t think you will have a problem downloading it because it is a very small program around 340 KB.
