Microsoft commerce server Installation error

We have several hosts in the business server farm. While we try to install Microsoft commerce server, we experience a unusual error in setup method.

It states “The Direct Mailer Resource is already configured on another computer. Only one Direct Mailer resource is supported per deployment).

Upon OK button click on, the setup progression moves back the setup process.  

Error 

 

 An error occurred when configuring the feature 'Marketing Direct
 Mailer'. The configuration log file may have more details about the
 error.

 Error Summary:


 The Direct Mailer Resource is already configured on another
 computer (||||||||||||||||||). Only one Direct Mailer resource
 is supported per deployment.

If you are facing this problem then,

First you check that did you have these system requirements.

  1. Ram – 4GB.
  2. Database- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 with service pack 1 and cumulative updates 2.
  3. Storage- NTFS file system.
  4. Formatted partition with minimum of 3GB of free space.
  5. Share point- Microsoft Share point server 2010.

Before starting.

  1.  You should uninstall any previous version of commerce server software.
  2.  Where you installing the software, you should have administrative privileges on your pc.
  3. keep all software ready for install.

You must have all these software for installing prerequisite.

  1.  Share point 2010.
  2.  SQL server.
  3.  Visual Studio (optional)
  4.  Install and setup IIS 7.0 web server.
