Maxthon Browser is it faster then Chrome and Firefox?

Many use this and i feel its fast but is it faster then others?

How and why?

Why is it not popular like other browsers?

Hi,

Maxthon browser uses the cloud technology making it faster than other browsers. It also supports new Web standards same with Chrome. The unique feature Maxthon have are the night vision technology which could save your eyes when you watch a video and the cloud download which means all running instances of Maxthon you log into will receive the downloaded file – not just your local machine. It is also platform independent and can run on various devices.

Regarding the performance, Chrome is still topnotch.

Maxthon is fast just like Chrome, it has added a cloud technology which can increase your download speed.

Maxthon previously supports only portable devices like iPad and Android phones. The desktop version was released on 2012 so perhaps, it's yet unknown to many. What makes this browser amazing is its the leader of supporting HTML 5 and it has sleek geek design.

Maxthon Browser is a cloud-based browser developed by Chinese Company Maxthon Ltd. It shows great performance. It has the ability to close and open tabs faster as compared to Chrome. It has built-in flash player, decreasing the chance of a crash down due to flash problems.

As a Mobile Browser, optimized one handed use and shake and share feature proves out to be advantageous.

In terms of speed, as it is developed on the same code as of Chrome, it is more or less at the same speed with Chrome.
