I use Window 7 and I recently downloaded a game called Mafia 2 from steam. I checked the system requirements before installing it and according to steam, my system was good to run this game. The game just doesn’t start. How do I mafia 2 not launching Windows 7?

Mafia 2 Not Launching Windows 7

If you have downloaded this game from steam and you are thinking that you are alone, no you are not. Several steam users have reported the same issue. As a result, some solutions have also surfaced but nothing from steam or the game developer yet.

For starters, right-click on the game launch icon or shortcut whatever you use and click on run as administrator. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, go to the Control Panel and then to Uninstall programs from Windows. Find a program named Nvidia PhysX. Uninstall this program and try to launch the game. This should do the trick. If you are an AMD user, unfortunately, no work for all solution has surfaced yet.
