Windows 7 Illustrator Amtlib Dll File Missing

I have recently bought a new laptop and I was excited to finally install illustrator on it. To my disappointment, after the installation, when I tried to open Adobe Illustrator, I got the error saying illustrator amtlib dll could not be found. How do I get it working?

Windows 7 Illustrator Amtlib Dll File Missing

The error that you are getting is a dll missing error. This means that either the dll file is missing or is corrupt. The only solution to these errors is to either repair the corrupt files or replace the missing files.

To do so, all you need to do is find the dll file on the internet and download it. After downloading and installing the file, place it in the System folder of your computer.
