Is Macintosh better than Windows?

Which is better, Windows operating system or Macintosh? I have a Microsoft Windows computer system and this is my third computer purchased within 2 years. My previous computer was infected with virus and it also has a problem wherein it asked me to purchase something online, but when I click it, it just multiplies.

My friend told me that his Apple computer does not get virus and told me to purchase an Apple computer instead. I want to have more input on this. Is Apple really better than Windows?

Is Macintosh better than Windows?

Mac OS X Panther is most stable operating UNIX system in the world. As per my knowledge and experience Mac is better than Windows. There are many reasons of it is better. It hardly ever crashes and a Virus free system. You would not face any problem if you keep clean and take care of your system. Windows gets most of the bugs but Mac is less prone to bugs. You do not need to purchase all new hardware just to keep the crap off the computer.

Apple uses good quality parts, Mac hardware is usually good quality. Apple's accessories are of high quality Like LCD panels for its screens, keyboard etc.

So if you want a gadget for long term use, then I Will prefer your MAC.

Is Macintosh better than Windows?

This is a debated questions and you have your own point and reasons in accordance of how technical savvy you are. Some may choose Mac Operating System because of how this Operating System is functioning. Less Virus infections, more stable than Windows with less hang-up during start-up process. Less prone to bus and other hardware components malfunctions.

Bad thing about Mac Operating System is it's availability of to made changes. Not known to have an open Operating System that hard to manipulate. Most office and work's computer uses Windows version because this can be customized according to the needs of the client.

Mac Operating System has this superiority that they don't allow to an open system. If you are a gamer, why use Mac? There are lots of compatibility involves, the graphics and high resolutions are OK, no question about it but gamers prefer using Windows.

The answer might be on the owner's characteristic, which I myself own both Mac and Windows Operating system. I like both because I can use one or the other depending on what I'm going to do with that day.

In this question, I will let you decide what and who are better among the 2 giant computer manufacturers.
