Looking for the lowest cost display pattern generator IC

I am working on a color CRT testing project. In this project I have to generate various types of display patterns for the testing of color cathode ray tube. Can anybody suggest the low cost display pattern generator IC?

                You might want to check DVI Pattern Generator, this is a device you connect to your monitor to generate DVI and HDMI pattern for both digital and analog display devices. The features are it checks the pixel rate, fast pattern switching, this is a plug and play device, VESA DDC2B / CI compatible, user friendly, and it is easy to integrate. You can also check AccuPel, this has 3D test patterns and also can be connected using USB.
