Linux – Need some suggestions about how to use software on Linux

Hello,

I was using Windows 7 until a few days ago and recently installed Linux operating system.

However, I am having trouble with programs.

The programs that used to run in Windows 7 are not working in Linux.

Why is this problem happening?

Please help me on this issue. If there is an other way to use those programs?
