The Phone was released in Feb 2012  and was available in South Korea in March 2012.

It will be released in the UK, today August 16th and in the USA later , by the end of September. Its availability in the USA will be a competition to the Popular Samsung Galaxy Note.

The LG Optimus Vu F100S is also known in South Korea as LG Optimus F100L. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks and uses a micro-SIM card. It was unveiled on February 2012 and released on March 2012. It measures 139.6 x 90.4 x 8.5 millimeters and weighs 168 grams. It has an HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 768 x 1024 pixels screen resolution.

It supports multi-touch. It runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread upgradable to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean powered by Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon chipset, Dual Core 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor, and Adreno 220 GPU. It does not support microSD. It runs on 1 GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage. The primary camera supports 8 megapixels at 3264 x 2448 pixels with LED flash and autofocus.

It features face detection and geo-tagging. It can record video in 1080p at 30 fps. The secondary camera supports 1.3 megapixels.
