I want to install the fax programs for Windows 8. What are the steps for the installation? I have no idea about the concept so it will be great if you could help me with the same. Thanks in advance.
Hi. The steps to configure Windows Fax and scan which is one of the fax programs for Windows 8 are as follows-
1) Click on start and then open the program
2) Select Tools and then click on fax accounts
3) Click on Add to install the fax modem
4) Select if you would like to have an automatic or a manual answering phone line
5) Then click on tools and then select fax settings to change the settings and configure options if any
The steps to send a fax using the Windows fax and scan are-
1) Open the start menu, click on all programs and then click on Windows fax and scan
2) Click on new fax. If you are sending a fax for the first time, then you will come across a new fax wizard
3) Then, create your fax and send it to the fax machine
