Hi. The steps for the setup and configuration of HP Compaq 8100 Elite CMT require you to first press ctrl+P to enter the management engine BIOS extension which is not shown during the splash screen by default. Then, once you are in the setup, enter the default password which is admin in this case. You can change the password for the MEBx as well and it must be ensured that the new password being set fulfils the criteria set by the guideline section. Next, enter the ME platform configuration and set the default setting as well as the recommended setting to enabled.

The password policy must be set to default password only. Then, enter the network setup and in that, the network address must be activated by clicking on activate network access. After all the settings have been done, come back to the main menu of the MEBx and press enter to return back to the main menu of the MEBx.
