Java runtime environment is defective

Hi,

I am getting the following annoying error message every time when I try to start LibreOffice.

I have installed Java Runtime Environment on my system but the error message popped up.

I tried to reinstall both applications but the same error displayed.

How can I avoid these weird messages?

Have any idea?

Thanks for any help.

JRE is Defective

LibreOffice requires a Java runtime environment(JRE) to perform this task. The selected JRE is defective. Please select another version or install a new JRE and select it under tools- Options _ LibreOffice _ Java

Hello William,

JRE (Java Runtime Environment) is a must to run programs that were developed using Java. LibreOffice is also a program that requires JRE.

The JRE that is installed is infected. Download the latest version and install it. Don’t forget to remove the old one as Java Runtime Environment is not configured to remove the old one completely.

Also, download the latest LibreOffice.

In order to remove the programs perfectly, use any of these uninstaller: Revo Uninstaller, Wise Program Uninstaller, IOBit Uninstaller etc. These will remove the programs along their left files and registries. Then install the fresh copies of the programs.
