This issue may be caused by a bad installation of a version of Microsoft's NET Framework. Please check that versions 2.0, 3.5, and 4.0 can all exist? Click the arrow next to your OS to expose links to the versions of Microsoft's .NET Framework that are applicable to your OS; you will need to download and install all of these. Please go below links and download the installers.

Run these installers and follow the instructions. If this version of the .NET Framework is already installed then you will have to repair the installation.

To solve this, you have to:

1.       Uninstall iTunes and other Apple components in your Control Panel (please ensure this order is followed) —

2.     Install the most recent version of iTunes.

It should now work properly.
