Hi there,

I have updated my Windows 7 and I had to reinstall iTunes. Everything is working just fine except iTunes. I have this error when I try to connect my iPhone and I don’t know how this can be solved. I never had this error before and it worked fine. Can anyone help me to fix this error please? What is the problem with iTunes?

Thanks!

iTunes could not connect to this iPhone . An unknown error occurred (0xE8000084).

If you haven’t updated iTunes for some time then maybe now is the time to update it. Most of the errors related to iTunes where the application can’t detect and connect to the handset can be fixed by installing the latest version. It seems that when Apple releases a new version for this program and you are still using the old version and you open it, when it detects that there is a much newer version available, this problem is triggered.

If there is a default setting for programs, I think we can call it the default error in iTunes and this happens regularly when a new version is available. If you already tried reinstalling the application then there is no need to reinstall it again since it will still end up with the same error. To properly fix the issue, download the latest version from iTunes 11.1.5 for Windows.

This version is only for x86 Microsoft Windows. If you have x64 Microsoft Windows, download iTunes 11.1.5 for Windows [64-bit]. It should work after installing it.
