Issues in iPhone 4 after upgrading to iOS 5

My iPad and my iPhone have been upgraded into iOS 5 recently. However, some of my applications from both gadgets were gone after I synched them with iTunes and I don't know why. Plus, whenever I search for an application in the store using my iPhone, no search results was shown. It shows that "no matches found" even with the existing applications that I know.  If I choose the Top 25 Categories, a list of applications is visible just like the usual one. I have reset my phone already but nothing has changed.

Suggestions and advices will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Issues in iPhone 4 after upgrading to iOS 5

Hello Ava Hall,

That seems to be a bug that comes with the iOS5 upgrade, but I will suggest for you some ways that you may want to give a try and see if the problem will be fixed. Use the procedures below:

  • First go to the settings options on the iphone and then look for the general option and choose it.
  • You will then choose spotlight search and from there make sure that there is a check mark next to each of the items that is listed.

Sometimes the problem may be result because of a possible problem with the connection to the apple database, and therefore refreshing the settings might be the fix for that.

You can also try using the Top 25, or use the Featured Tabs and see if everything will work fine for you.
