Could not add entries to my iPhone calendar after an update

After a software update was done using iTunes for my iPhone 4, I could not add schedules in my calendar anymore. I have upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.

The plus (+) icon is not visible anymore which was located on right-most top of the screen. I can still update my existing entries but I could not add another schedule.

Any kind of help will be much appreciated.

Hello there!

So your issue is all about not being able to add schedules on your Calendar anymore after updating your Iphone4's software.

This is actually a frequent issue related to the latest iOS5 upgrade. A lot of users are having difficulties editing their calendar, specifically adding new schedules. 

I have found out two options that could help fix the issue:

Option 1 ( The most popular and reliable)

1. Go to Settings > iCloud > Turn on Contacts and Calendars.

 

Option 2:

1. Go to Calendar 

2. Press the invitations/download button on the lower right.

Hello Milton Daley,

Don’t worry. This sometimes happened after upgrading.

To fix this, follow the following steps:
 

1.   Go to the Settings.

2.   Then go to the iCloud.

3.    Turn on Contacts.

4.    Then the "+" icon will appear on your Calendar again.
