IPhone data deleted after installing updates and restoring is unsuccessful

There is a certain problem I am experiencing with my iPhone which I am hoping that you can help. I installed a new update that ended up deleting all other data in my phone and on trying to restore the data I did not get any success. The phone hang even before reaching halfway of the process and giving it time did not work at all. Does anyone have an idea how to restore the data?

As a resolution to that issue, you will need to do the following:

• You will need to plug the iphone into your PC and then you will open up iTunes.
• You will then need to click on the iphone device name that should appear in the left-hand column.
• And then you will click on "Sync" or "Apply", and option that should appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen
• After you have done that, iTunes will start restoring any data you had on the on the iphone. You will need to be patient for the syncing process can take a very long time.
• When the restoring process is through, iTunes may ask to verify if you would like to transfer purchased items back to iTunes. What  you will need to do is click "Transfer," otherwise the items will be deleted from your device.
