Installation error with Flashgot, GreaseMonkey, etc.

Hi,

I recently installed Flashgot and GreaseMonkey for downloading books. I also installed an anti-virus software after. All installations were successful; however, when I tried using Flashgot option "flashgot selection", I got this error. I tried reinstalling everything: Flashgot, GreaseMonkey and even my browser but still I got the same error message.

Please advise on what to do next.

The error message is something like this:

FlashGot Error

Download manager not properly installed.

Incorrect function.

Installation error with Flashgot, GreaseMonkey, etc.

As the error is stating "Download Manager not properly installed", it could be because of the COM component that comes with FlashGot that may not be registered correctly or most probably missing. There are instance that the Jccatch.dll FlashGet library that may be deleted by some antispyware software. To fix this, download FlashGot again from the link below:

FlashGot Download Manager V. 1.5.5.5

Also, check the settings on your antivirus or anti spyware software so this issue won't occur again.
