Increase Your Knowledge By Learning How To Backup Network Drive

Hi. The steps to learninghow to backup network drive are as follows-

1) First, create a batch file which is to be mounted on the drive

2) Create a scheduled task

3) Run the batch file

ForWindows7: 

• Click on start and then click on all programs

• Select accessories, system tools and then task scheduler

• Click on action and then select the Create task option

• Enter the name, description and click on OK to confirm the system user

• Then, construct a trigger

• Create a new action

• Create a new task by clicking on OK in the Create task window

• Sign in to test the task

On Windows XP:

• Go to C drive, click on tasks and click on add scheduled task

• Select the browse option to add the file

• Give a name to the task which describes it

• Select the time by clicking on when I log on

• System is the username which is to be entered

• Click on finish option

• Sign in to make sure that the new task is working properly
