Hello experts,

I have a Dell Latitude D620 with windows xp software installed. I mostly use this for gaming. But recently, whenever I play a game such as Death Pages, it lagged a lot. Is there anything that needs to be done to increase the gaming experience and avoid the lagging? Please help me with this. Thank you.

Video game lagging is usually caused by hardware issues, especially if it has to do with gaming. What type of graphics card do you have installed? Graphics card has a lot to do with visual graphics. If you only got the one that is integrated on your motherboard, then there is no way of getting it replaced or upgraded. However if it is separated, you might want to upgrade your graphics adapter so you can enjoy playing at a maximum performance.

Another factor that your computer is lagging (while playing games or not) is may be due to insufficient RAM (Random Access Memory). Check your computer’s RAM and make sure it is 1GB or more. Additionally, insufficient space in your hard drive could also cause problems. Make sure you have enough disk space to avoid lagging.

Last option would be to clean up your pc. Download a pc repair or pc cleanup and run it on your system.

Hello dear Bray Slattery,

How are you? Hopefully, you are very fine. Thanks for sharing problem with us. Gaming is dependent on your PC configuration and your graphics card and enough memory. If all of your hardware is of good quality in your PC, you will enjoy your game a lot. I highly recommended you to increase your configuration specifically your graphics card and memory. So I think after that you will most enjoy your game. If your computer has a virus problem, then scan your whole PC and be sure your PC is virus-free and clean.

Thanks.
